Refund Policy
Effective April 2026
We want you happy with the work. We also need to protect the time we put into each build. This policy splits the difference.
Done-for-you builds ($999 build fee)
Full refund within 3 days of purchase, as long as we haven’t started building yet. Email hello@propheticfrequency.com and we’ll refund the full $999 build fee to the original payment method within a business day.
Once we’ve received your intake form and started the build (typically within 1–2 business days of payment), the $999 build fee is non-refundable. At that point we’ve already committed hours of design and development work to your project.
If we mess up — if the delivered site doesn’t match what was promised, or if we miss a material detail from your intake — we fix it at no extra cost. That’s what the revision round is for, and we’ll add more rounds if we made the mistake.
Monthly hosting ($99/mo)
Cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal, or email us and we’ll cancel for you. Your site stays online through the end of the current billing period. We don’t prorate partial months unless required by law.
If you cancel hosting, your site comes down at the end of the billing period. On request, we’ll hand off the codebase at cost so you can self-host — reach out before the billing period ends and we’ll work it out.
Template source code ($299)
The code license is a digital product. We deliver it by sending a GitHub repository invitation to the username you provided at checkout, usually within one business day.
Refund window closes once we send the invite.Before then, email us and we’ll refund in full. After delivery, refunds are only issued if the code is materially defective and we can’t fix it — in which case we refund the full $299 and revoke the repository access.
Chargebacks
If something goes wrong, email us first. We’re a small studio and we answer. Chargebacks filed without giving us a chance to resolve the issue tend to end up with the full details of the order submitted to the card network — which rarely goes well for anyone. Talking to us first is almost always faster and cheaper.
Edge cases
Situations this policy doesn’t cover (disputes over scope, external cost increases, etc.) get handled case by case. The principle we work from: refunds when the fault is ours, no-refunds once we’ve done the work, and an honest conversation when it’s somewhere in between.
